Prep & Plan

Browse our ranges and book your consultation

Meet your designer and chat through your project

This is your chance to meet your dedicated Smile Kitchens designer. Start our exclusive online design process and chat all about your project, share your inspiration and ideas, and we’ll help bring them to life.

Your designer works their magic…

After your initial meeting with your designer, they will work into your design, refining your layout options and finish choices. Plus, we’ll fully dress the room so you get a great idea of the whole space, not just the kitchen.

It’s time for the big reveal!

The exciting part! Your designer will present their design to you on a video call with a 3D walkthrough of your fully dressed kitchen, and talk you through the different design elements including any storage solutions and range finishes, plus a full breakdown of the costs. This is your chance to give live feedback on the design and chat through any questions with your designer.

We’ll send free samples

Once you’re happy with the design, we’ll send you free samples of the doors, cabinets, worktops, and handles you’ve chosen to compare in your home.

You’ll be able to look at these samples in the different lights in your home and feel the true quality of your new kitchen.

We perfect your design and add finishing touches

We know plans can change throughout the design process, that’s why your dedicated designer is always on hand to adjust your design when needed. We’ll make sure you’re 100% happy with the design before we place your order.

Purchase

Your fitter checks the measurements

Now you’re in love with your design – let’s make sure it all fits! We’ll send a design pack including the plan elevation, product breakdown, and prompts for your fitter to check. Invite your fitter round for a cup of tea (on us!) and ask them to double-check the measurements to make sure they’re happy before we place any orders.

Placing your order

Following your design pack, your designer will complete any amendments to the design where needed and book a call to run through everything, covering product choices, final costs, and delivery dates. Now it’s time to place the order!

You’ll receive your exclusive discount codes

Time to celebrate – your kitchen is ordered! We’ll send you your personal discount codes to use with our brand partners so you can order your appliances and plan the finishing touches to your kitchen. Delivery

It’s time for delivery!

After your units are assembled and we’ve QA checked your kitchen, our installation team will be in touch to confirm your delivery time and advise how much space you’ll need to clear.

The delivery team will deliver your kitchen directly to your door, ready for the fun to begin. 7 days after delivery, your payment is due

We support your fitter, plus fuss-free remedials

Our involvement with your project doesn’t stop at delivery. Not only do we provide an installation pack full of technical guides for your fitter, but our installations team is also on hand to help with any questions that might come up during the fitting process. Your designer will still be checking in too, to see how the project is coming along.

Time to enjoy your kitchen and share the smiles

At any point in your Smile experience, you can share the smiles by recommending us to your friends and family who are looking for a new kitchen. Recommend as many people as you like and you both earn £100 every single time. No cap means that your kitchen can pay for itself over time.

Our lovely team have 20 years of experience in interior design and kitchens. They will collaborate with you and work their magic to bring your ideas and inspiration to life.

Jane Thyeson

Jane finds inspiration from all kinds of sources, but finds her best work comes from listening to the customer and coming up with designs together.

She likes to find out what the customer wants, if they have children, pets, what they like to do in the kitchen. Her favourite design style is fusion – traditional with a twist, or modern with traditional elements.

Corinne Barton

Corinne studied Interior Design and then worked on design and decoration for a property development company who renovate houses.

She loves to spend time cooking in her kitchen at home. That’s why she likes to get to know each customer so she can really understand what they need, allowing her to make each kitchen personal to its new owner.

Steven Filkins

Steven has been in the kitchen industry for over 16 years, straight from school, and has great technical and practical experience as well as product knowledge.

He is a problem solver and his knowledge is ideal for layouts that are problematic and unusual. He likes to look at how the kitchen would work, before moving on to the design and finishes.

Isabella Keziah

Isabella has been designing kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms for over five years and joined the Smile Kitchens design team in 2022 to pursue her love for kitchen design.

She enjoys the thrill of a challenging design and is ready to inspire customers with unique ideas and solutions they might not have considered. She’s ready to inspire you with unique ideas and solutions!

Dawn Filkins

Dawn studied Interior Design at UCLan university, before moving into the creative industry. She has great experience with both technical and design. She has also spent some time working on student accommodation, pubs, hotels and restaurants.

Dawn has been with Smile from day 1, and finds that dealing with the customers inspires her, as they work together to get the best result.
