Meet the designer
I love the mix of creativity and problem-solving. I'll work closely with you to create a kitchen space that feels both personal and functional.
How long have you been designing kitchens for? How did you get into it?
I’ve been designing kitchens for 3 years, but my design career began around 9 years ago in an independent interiors studio. Working closely with customers to select fabrics, colours and finishes sparked my passion for creating spaces that feel both personal and functional. Over the years, that evolved into kitchen design, as I love the mix of creativity and problem-solving. For me, the best designs are the ones that not only look great but make everyday life easier and more enjoyable for the people using them.
Who inspires you?
I take inspiration from a mix of architecture, interiors, and everyday spaces. I’ve always loved George Clarke’s approach to design - especially the way he combines creativity with practicality. I like seeing how different designers approach lighting, textures, cabinetry and styling details, and I’m always saving ideas that spark something creatively. I also really admire designers like Sophie Robinson and recently completed her Colour Psychology course, which gave me a deeper understanding of how colour can completely influence the mood and feel of a home.
Favourite kitchen trend
I love two-tone kitchens because I think they add so much depth and personality to a space. I’m particularly drawn to designs that mix warm natural textures with painted cabinetry to create something that feels both timeless and modern.
Top tip for designing?
A beautiful kitchen still needs to function well day-to-day, so understanding things like storage needs, workflow, lighting and how the space will be used is just as important as the aesthetics.
Unpopular opinion
I think practicality should always come before trends - a kitchen needs to work for your lifestyle first and still feel timeless years down the line.
Favourite thing about designing?
My favourite part of designing is getting to meet and work with lots of different people, each with their own ideas, lifestyle and vision for their space. Especially when you can completely transform how a space looks, feels and functions for someone day-to-day.
Something you do in your spare time?
Outside of work, I love travelling and exploring in Coco, our campervan, especially around the Scottish Highlands. I enjoy being outdoors and discovering somewhere new whenever we get the chance.
